I grew up in a small Alaskan town with a mother who was raised on soul quenching, southern, food. I sat at our kitchen bar stool for years, watching her whip up recipes from scratch, rarely cracking open a cookbook. All of my kitchen tips and tricks come from her coaching me throughout my childhood. Now I have my own kitchen and somehow stumbled upon my niche. I delight in serving others by filling their bellies and conversing around my unusually small dining table. So here is a window into my narrow kitchen!
