Sesame Noodles


  • 1lb Chinese egg noodles
  • 2 T sesame oil
  • 1lb round steak, sliced
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t pepper
  • 2 small zucchinis, chopped
  • 8 green onions, chopped
  • ½ cabbage, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2” peeled fresh ginger, roughly chopped
  • 1 C natural peanut butter
  • ½ C soy sauce
  • 4 T brown sugar
  • 2 T rice vinegar
  • 1 ½ t crushed  red pepper
  • ½ C hot water


  1. Cook noodles according to package direction and drain + rinse noodles. Pour noodles back into a pot and mix in 2 T of sesame oil and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, saute steak, pepper, and salt in olive oil until steak has reached medium. Remove steak from the pan, place in the noodle pot and set aside. Using the same skillet, saute vegetables until tender and also add to the noodle pot.
  3. While steak or veggies are sauteing, place the remaining ingredients, except the hot water, into a blender. Once smooth, slowly add water while blending.
  4. Pour sauce over noodles, steak, and veggies. Mix together until all the ingredients are evenly covered.
  5. Top with sesame seeds and serve with egg rolls!
