Chicken Makhani

Ingredients:

Sauce:

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbs fresh grated ginger
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cup half & half
  • 2 cans tomato puree

Chicken:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 sliced zucchini
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions:

Sauce:

  1. In a large saucepan, saute onion in olive oil until translucent. Add the garlic and saute for another 2 minutes.
  2. Add the butter and spices, stir for about 30 seconds. Add grated ginger, lemon juice, sour cream, half & half, and tomato puree.
  3. Let simmer on low, stirring occasionally while you cook the chicken.

Chicken:

  1. In a large skillet, saute chicken, sliced zucchini, and spices in olive oil until chicken is fully cooked. Drain chicken + zucchini and add to sauce.
  2. Serve over rice with naan and enjoy!
