Ingredients:
Marinade
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3 chicken breasts
Sauce
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, pepper, and salt; set aside.
- Cut chicken breasts into 1” pieces and place into a large bowl. Add sour cream, ginger, and spices. Mix together until chicken is evenly coated. Let marinate for 2-12 hours.
- Once chicken is marinated, in a large sauce pan, saute onion in butter for about 5 minutes and then add garlic, sauteing for another 2 minutes. Add cumin, paprika, and salt, tomato sauce, and heavy cream. Whisk until it thickens slightly.
- While simmering the sauce, in a cast iron skillet, saute chicken until cooked through. Add chicken to sauce and stir.
- Serve over long grain rice with naan and enjoy!
